EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from trauma, distressing experiences, and deeply rooted emotional patterns. When difficult experiences are not fully processed, they can become “stuck” in the brain, leading to anxiety, triggers, negative beliefs, and emotional overwhelm. EMDR works by helping the brain reprocess these memories through guided techniques such as eye movements or tapping, reducing their intensity and allowing them to be stored in a healthier, more manageable way.

EMDR is highly effective for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other challenges connected to past experiences. In our practice, sessions are conducted in a safe, supportive, and affirming environment where you are always in control of the pace. We take a trauma-informed and inclusive approach, honoring your identity and experiences while helping you move toward healing, resilience, and a greater sense of peace.

Group Therapy

Group therapy offers a supportive and collaborative space where individuals can connect with others who share similar experiences, challenges, or goals. It provides a sense of community and belonging, helping you realize that you are not alone in what you’re going through. Through guided discussions and shared experiences, group therapy allows participants to gain new perspectives, build meaningful connections, and develop healthier ways of coping in a safe and respectful environment.

In our practice, group therapy is facilitated with care, inclusivity, and intention. We create a space where every voice is valued and respected, and where participants feel seen and heard without judgment. Groups may focus on topics such as trauma, identity, emotional regulation, or personal growth, and are designed to support healing through connection, shared understanding, and collective support.

Affirming Individual Therapy

Affirming individual therapy is a personalized, one-on-one approach that centers your identity, experiences, and unique needs in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. We recognize that healing looks different for everyone, especially for those who have felt unseen, misunderstood, or invalidated in other environments. This type of therapy is rooted in respect, compassion, and a deep commitment to honoring who you are—without asking you to change or minimize any part of yourself.

Our approach is trauma-informed and inclusive, with a strong focus on supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, those navigating identity exploration, and clients living with chronic illness, disability, or complex life experiences. Using evidence-based practices, we work collaboratively with you to process challenges, build coping skills, and move toward growth and self-understanding. Here, you are fully accepted, and your healing journey is guided at a pace that feels right for you.
